Our Story
Pikla was born when culinary duo Mr. Jimmy Pickle and Mr. Louis Pickle decided to bring their lifelong passion for hearty food to Larnaca's old town. Both men have been cooking since childhood and share one unbreakable culinary rule: at Pikla, there's absolutely no mayonnaise – ever!
Their paths crossed at a midnight food market where they discovered their complementary cooking styles. After years of perfecting their craft separately, they joined forces to create a restaurant where traditional Cypriot flavors meet modern creativity.
Nestled among ancient stone walls, Pikla offers dishes that tell the story of Cyprus with the Pickle duo's signature twist. As they often say to new customers, "Welcome to Pikla – where the food is always hearty, the welcome always warm, and the mayonnaise always absent!"
